I enjoy Shur Fine Crinkle Cut french fries, which have zero saturated fat, trans fat or cholesterol, only I find they taste better baked at 45o degrees for 40 minutes.
Lance Armstrong may have a better recipe for baked french fries:

"In April 2011, various intelligence outlets were able to pinpoint bin Laden's suspected location near Abbottabad, Pakistan. It was originally believed that bin Laden was hiding near the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas, but he was found 100 miles (160 km) away in a three-story mansion in Abbottabad at 34°10′9.63″N 73°14′33.33″E.[171][171][172][173] Bin Laden's mansion was located 0.8 miles (1.3 km) southwest of the Pakistan Military Academy, the country's "West Point".[174][175][176][177] Google Earth maps show that the compound was not present in 2001, but was present on images taken in 2005."

Fact: Starchy foods are part of a healthy meal plan. What is important is the portion size. Whole grain breads, cereals, pasta, rice and starchy vegetables like potatoes, yams, peas and corn can be included in your meals and snacks. The key is portions. For most people with diabetes, having 3-4 servings of carbohydrate-containing foods is about right. Whole grain starchy foods are also a good source of fiber, which helps keep your gut healthy." - The American Diabetes Association

Under "Food and Fitness / Planning Meals/ Carb counting" it mentions a good place to start is with about 45 - 60 grams of carbohydrates per meal and there are about 15 grams of carbohydrates in a 1/4 serving of french fries. coup[1])

In 1958, General Qasim deposed the Western-allied Iraqi monarchy. The United
States government assisted the 1963 coup by supporting Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath
Party financially. Writing on the 1963 coup in his memoirs, Harry Rositzke, a
long time OSS and CIA intelligence analyst, presented it as an example of
Western intelligence agencies attaining good intelligence in contrast to other
incidents that caught the agency by surprise. The Ba'ath overthrow "was forecast
in exact detail by CIA agent'.

1963 Syrian coup d'etat
"In February 1963, the Iraqi Ba'ath took power after violently overthrowing
nationalist Iraqi military officer Abd
al-Karim Qasim and quashing communist-led resistance.
In March, the Syrian party’s military committee succeeded in
persuading Nasserist and independent officers to make common cause
with it, and successfully carried out a military coup on 8 March. A National
Revolutionary Command Council took control and assigned itself legislative
power; it appointed Salah al-Din al-Bitar as head of a "national front"
government."
